Mono to stereo to sublime!

Back in your dads days the only sound you could hear was mono, this being the same sound though both speakers, then in the early days along came stereo which was able to give you two different sounds with each speaker working independently. Now the time has come for 5.1 surround sound. Now this has been out for a while but only recently has the true 5.1 come into the headphone market.

Four speakers on each side produce outstanding 5.1 surround sound. Enhancements made to the bass, front, rear and centre speakers mean that sounds coming from all around need not make your head spin, but you can pinpoint your enemy great accuracy, car racing games enjoy greatly improved sound with cars whizzing by and grunty engine sounds make it so much more real!

The bass vibration feature can be felt more in these head phones and is noticeable particularly when big explosions are going off in company of heroes or the shot from a rifle in COD2 . Demanding audio peeps will be glad that each speaker can be adjusted and tweaked using the in line remote channel (front - right/left, rear - right/left, center and sub woofer) as well as control the master volume and you can mute the microphone directly on the in-line remote.

The build quality has been improved on the NX and they are a lot more durable than the old 360, I was running the NX off my 5.1 motherboard, but I would love to hear these baby's on Creative sounds X-Fi Fatal1ty 5.1 card.
Now that would be sublime.

I have been testing this headset for a week now, but I was hoping they would let me test them for a life time. Alas that was not possible and you can experience the headset for your self on PC 1 in PONG central.
